Cedarville State Park, MD

10201 Bee Oak Road
Brandywine, MD 20613

Pet friendly forest with miles of hiking trails, lakes, and camping available, Cedarville State Forest is a nice place to bring a picnic and spend the day.  It costs just $3/car to enter.

Fall foliage is beautiful here especially in the reflection of the water, so go in the fall and bring your camera.  If you’re lucky you may see a group of wild turkeys.

Some of the roads and trails do get swampy during heavy rains/hurricanes, so call ahead if there’s been an unusually heavy rain recently as some areas of the park may be inaccessible.

There is legal hunting in parts of the forest during hunting season, so watch carefully for signs and wear bright colors in the fall when hunters are out.

About Tiffany

I'm eclectic. Sometimes that's a good thing because I can do bits of everything. Sometimes it's aggravating because I get distracted by so many amazing things. Mostly, I love photography and family, travel and writing, cooking, reading, art, and coffee. Sundays are church days to regroup and refocus. God's in charge here.

Keeping in Touch

Keep in touch, stay updated, and find out what's going on in my little neck of the woods wherever that may be.
